LDI began with three electricians performing oil field work mixed with kitchen equipment repair. We eventually formed an affiliation with a plumbing company who assisted with gas and steam repairs. Over the years, our technicians have become factory trained in the appliance field to cover electrical, steam, gas and refrigeration. This opened the opportunity to service the restaurant industry on a full-service level.

The LDI initial was adopted from a west central Saskatchewan lake called Lac Des Ills. Our family visited this lake many summers and we liked it so much that we named our company after it.

We are proud to say LDI is a Calgary-based company with the owners being born and raised here in Calgary. We have enjoyed the experience of building our business with the growth of Calgary. Our long-standing support from Calgary based restaurants, education centers, hospitals, long term care facilities and national franchise chains has positioned us well to be the top service provider in the food equipment industry.
